1. The perfect white T-shirt, an everyday option that legends are made of.
Don’t judge me, but I’m a T-shirt snob. My fave white tees, until now, have been on the pricier side. I’m willing to pay more for something soft and luxe that I will wear all the time. Never in a million years did I think a tee that came in a two-pack would make me say “damn,” when I put it on, and yet here we are.
Let’s go through the checklist of important white tee criteria, shall we? Item one: a neckline that is not too revealing and not so high that it’s annoying. This baby passes that test with flying colors. It’s a perfect crew neck that is modest but shows enough skin that it looks fashionable (read: it doesn’t have that high, almost mock turtleneck that shows up on cheap giveaway tees). It’s a great backdrop for necklaces. Item two: fit. It fits like a dream. This tee is comfy and stretchy and not too boxy, but also not so clingy that it’s unflattering. I got a medium and I’m usually a medium, so it’s true to size. Item three: sheerness. It passes this test too! Yes, as with most white tees you can kind of see the outline of my bra, but not in a way where I’d be uncomfortable wearing it on its own. The material is opaque and feels sturdy. Finally: versatility. As you can see from the pics, this cutie works great on its own but is also perfectly comfy to layer under a little dress! It’s a new go-to for sure, and I’m thinking of getting the black, too. —Katy Herman

2. A linen wrap dress you’ll wear now and into fall and basically as long as you possibly can because it looks great on EVERYONE.
This dress is simple, and simply the best! Before I bought it, I saw it everywhere. I felt like I couldn’t go on the subway without seeing at least one version of this dress (it comes in so many colors they’d be hard to tell apart unless you were really looking… I was). Typically, I wouldn’t go for a dress I saw all the time. But here’s the thing, it looked fantastic on everybody (every body). It didn’t matter if the person I saw was tall, short, curvy, thin, or styling it in a really unexpected way. Each person looked like the dress had been tailored specifically for them. It hadn’t. It’s just a fantastic dress.
I’ve machine washed it and dried it without any trouble and, when it wrinkles, I find that the wrinkles fade on their own as you wear it (though that might have to do more with my wrinkle-tolerance than the dress). The pockets are legitimately useful and I often have my cell phone and keys in them all day long without my worrying they’ll fall out or tear. It also fits like an actual dress. I feel like so many wrap dresses don’t actually end up covering me enough for me to feel confident I won’t be exposing my poor underwear choice of the day. That’s not a problem with this! Honestly, get it. In every color. Let’s coordinate our outfits. —Mal Mower

3. A bow-tiful handbag to add the right amount of extra to your ensemble.
I’m not a very adventurous person when it comes to getting dressed. I usually stick with neutral colors and loose silhouettes that I know look good on me. However, this gets a little boring sometimes, so I like to pick out statement accessories to give my outfits a little extra “oomph.” I saw this big bow bag on Apollo Box while researching for a post and immediately fell in love with it. I literally had no good reason to buy it, but it was just one of those things where I bought it purely for joy. And I have zero regrets!!!
It’s made out of a soft scuba material and actually looks exactly like the pictures online. The bow holds its shape perfectly and actually works with a variety of outfits. The bag itself is very roomy (it fits pretty much everything I would need on a daily basis except for my laptop). The only thing is it doesn’t have any compartments so finding my keys takes a little while, but that’s not a huge deal to me. When I wear it, I feel like Carrie Bradshaw because it’s just so extra in the best way possible. I chose black because it’s the easiest to style, but I’m thinking about getting the red one to wear for holiday parties. —Yi Yang

4. A wrap tee that’ll be perf even on people who hate V-necks and crop tops. (It’s that good.)
Hi there. Like some other fine folks out there, I’m not the most confident when it comes to wearing crop tops and low v-necks. Like, not at all. I dream of confidently strutting my stuff while baring my midriff and showing a lil’ cleavage (the little I have), but the fact is I spend most of the time just staring down at myself and making sure nothing I don’t want to show is showing. But ohmygosh, I think I saw this knit wrap tee in AnaMaria’s post and decided I was gonna take a style gamble. Right off the bat, I was attracted to the forest green color — good one to feature, AnaMaria — because I don’t own any clothes in that shade of green (or any green, come to think of it). It’s different without being hard to pair.
It also feels INCREDIBLY SOFT, and I’m all about materials that I can nap comfortably in. This isn’t theoretical, like I need clothes that will last through a two-hour nap — and I’ve tested this top, so I know it holds up. And best of all, it’s lightweight but not at all see-through. If you have a pretty bralette, you can add a lovely lil’ bordering to the v-neck area too. I’ve worn it with high-waisted denim shorts, which still leaves a decent sliver of skin showing — nice for going out — or if you want to bridge the gap a bit more, opt for a flowy skirt you can pull up super high, as I’ve done in the photo. I don’t wear plain shirts often, so the tie was something special that convinced me to hit that “Add to Bag” button. All of these details put together make me feel a little flirtier (because sometimes you’re just in that kinda mood!) and more confident than usual, which is a win for me. —Sarah Han

5. A Mary Poppins-ish gym bag that somehow won’t look like a weekender once all your stuff’s in there.
So DON’T HATE ME but I work out almost daily over the work week. I’m the worst I know! Don’t worry my weekend consists of pretty much just ice cream. It didn’t take long to realize it’s actually super hard to find a gym bag that a) fits everything I need for the day and b) doesn’t look like I’m trying to skip town. When I go in the morning I have a lot of ~baggage~ (honestly emotional too because I’m tired AF) — we’re talking face wash that naturally comes in big packaging, hair straightener, work clothes, shoes, makeup, and who knows what else.
This Claraa cloud-like gym bag changes all that! It’s called the cumulus bag and for good reason — first off it’s adorably similar to a puffy cloud, and secondly it can subtly expand to fit EVERYTHING. There are labeled pockets for dirty clothes, clean clothes, water, and even an umbrella! The inside is surprisingly roomy for a seemingly compact bag and I’ve never (not once!) run out of space no matter how many things I “needed” for the day. AND it’s waterproof, which is required for me because I spill more sips than I actually get into my mouth.
I think the best part of all though is that even when I make the bag heavy (hello, packed Doc Martens), the straps are so soft that it never hurts my shoulder. I’m a whiner, ok, and I would tell you if it was uncomfortable! But even the straps are cloud-like! And yes, of course, it is very stylish which is a big plus because now I *blend* on my way to work.
It is pretty pricey at $195, but I’m telling you from one stingy person to another that it’s worth it (not to mention you can pay in four interest-free installments)! I’ll be using this for years and years (funny that I have so much confidence that I’ll keep working out). Honestly even if I woke up one day and decided to never run again, this would still double as a great weekender bag! —Emma McAnaw

6. A Supernatural T-shirt for anyone on the *hunt* for something to equally rep Sam and Dean.
Confession: I’m always behind when it comes to TV shows. For some reason, I only get into popular shows when they’re already over or six seasons in. I’m sad to say I didn’t start watching Supernatural until last year, and I was kicking myself for not getting into it earlier. I love anything related to horror and mystery and this was right up my alley. One of my fave things from the show is Dean’s 1967 Chevy Impala (probably his only one true love?!) so when I stumbled across this shirt on Hot Topic, I hit order right away. Most Supernatural tees I see have the anti-possession symbol or the actual characters printed on them, but I was looking for something a little less obvious — and this was perfect! It has a really nice vintage look to it, and the material is really soft and wearable. I’ve washed it once already and it still looks new — the print didn’t fade or crinkle and the shirt didn’t shrink. So if you are a fellow fan of the show (or just looking for a really cool tee), I highly recommend this one! —Yi Yang
